Faculty of Law Team Wins Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Competition Law Moot
Another huge success for the Law Faculty! Viktória Húšťová and Ján Zbín came out on top in the final round of the Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Competition Law Moot held at King’s College in London.
Based on the latest information from Ján Zbín, directly from London, our students beat the teams from the National Law University, Jodhpur, and the Gujarat National Law University in the team competition and qualified for the quarterfinals from the first place. In this round, they defeated the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and then Utrecht University in the semifinals. After the final round, they celebrated their victory over the University of Hong Kong, the front-runner of the competition.
The winners received their awards from a prestigious judging panel for the finale, chaired by Lady Rose of Colmworth, Justice of the UK Supreme Court.
This year, 43 teams from across the world participated in the moot, 12 of which competed in the oral rounds at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London.
