The study program “Specialised Law Studies” is a new Master’s program taught in English, offering specialized legal education focused on contemporary challenges in a changing global context. Unique in its emphasis on the European perspective, the program combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, preparing students to address legal issues in international — particularly European — environments.

The goal of the program is to provide students with a deep understanding of the European context of law-making and law application in a rapidly changing world. The program emphasizes critical analysis and the ability to apply both legal principles and specific legal norms across various contexts.

Health Law:

This specialization focuses on the legal aspects of healthcare, including healthcare regulation, bioethics, the protection of patients’ rights, and health law at the European and international levels.

Within the field of Health Law, graduates will gain knowledge of the international and European contexts of legal regulation concerning patients’ rights, the functioning of healthcare systems, and international cooperation, as well as the international and European regulation of the rights and obligations of insured persons, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

Graduates will be equipped to apply international and European legal standards to both domestic and cross-border cases. They will master legal reasoning and argumentation in the complex area of medical services or pharmaceutics and will have an insight into the current case law from international and European courts and the latest legal practice.
